OK, so I'm putting together a "Travelers Guide to Laos" for my boss, trying to find the best shopping in Vientiane (the capital city), when I came across this interesting sounding location:

The Plain of Jars.

"What is this interesting sounding location?" I wondered to myself and clicked the link mainly to satisfy my curiosity. What I found was this:


Notice the man walking in the background - see how big those jars are?! The whole plain is covered with them.

Maybe I'll create an itinerary that includes the Plain of Jars, Stonehenge, Easter Island, and other mythical locations. What an interesting trip that would be!
